Who needs Tuplix?
Cary the Web Designer
Cary is a free-lance web designer in Minnesota. His clients tend to be small or mid-size companies who want killer websites that match their other marketing collateral (their logo, brochures and letterhead, typically.) Cary is very comfortable using DreamWeaver for the whole process, since it is perfect for his needs. In the years before Tuplix, whenever one of his clients wanted to add a new staff member to the "about us" page, or add a note on the homepage about an upcoming conference, Cary had to do it. It was nice to get a little extra cash out of the small edits, but overall it was a headache. It meant he had to be around to make edits at a moment's notice. And the work was pretty tedious. Once Cary took a two-week trip hiking in Hawaii and lost two clients over it. They needed something done NOW and Cary was not around. But, with Tuplix, the headache is gone. Cary leaves town whenever. And his clients love making edits on their own. They are extremely satisfied with the Tuplix's Visual Editor. Cary still uses DreamWeaver to build all of his sites. The only thing Cary does differently is spend an half an hour creating a new Tuplix account and inputting all the page information instead of spending hours and hours month after month making simple content edits.
Andy the General Manager of a Mid-Sized Business
Andy oversees the day-to-day operation of a specialty shoe manufacturing company in Colorado. The company has a fifteen page website. Much of the site stays the same from one month to the next, but a few pages need to be changed. The list of retail locations seems to change on a daily basis, and every month or so, the President wants to post a link to a newspaper or magazine article on the site. In the years before Tuplix, these minor website edits seemed a daunting task. For awhile, the company employed a part-time website designer. That proved expensive. Then, they tried to outsource the work, but it was also expensive and took days and days to see the changes. In frustration, Andy even tried to learn how to use Front Page, so she could edit the site. That took days and days too and was really a poor use of her time. Now Andy and her company use Tuplix. Whenever she, the President, or the head of Retail Management need to change content on the site, they log into Tuplix from anywhere, and make the change within minutes. Once she discovered Tuplix, it took her less than an hour to signup and input the fifteen pages. Everything about their site still works the same as before. They did not have to choose a cookie-cutter design like they might have if they had chosen to use another web-editing software solution. The nicest part about her decision to use Tuplix is that it earned Andy a handsome raise the next month.
